Abstract：Academician Huang Bingwei is a pioneer in the field of integrative research for physical geography in our country. He thought:"Geography will loss the base for its existence without integrative geographic research". He persisted in integrative research of physical geography. This text introduces the process of formation and development about his integrative geographical thought; discusses the new realm of the physical geographical integrative research, such as the synthetical physical geography classification of China, the heat equilibrium and water equilibrium in the ground, the natural potentiality in agricultural production, the use and amelioration of sloping fields, land system science, etc; reveals that his integrative thought of geography have already set up a complete theory system, and is developing continuously. This text also reveals that the research across subjects should be proceeded strongly now.
