Abstract:To investigate the effect of models of superoxide dismutase (MSOD) on the hepatoma cell line. The cultured human hepatoma cell line SSMC-7721 was inoculated into 96-well plates and various concentrations of models of SOD (MSOD) were added into different wells after 24 h. MTT assay was used to calculate the growth inhibition rate of hepatoma cells. Simultaneously the cells were seeded into 24-well plates and taken count of after being dyed. Then the data was analyzed statistically to protract the growth curve. DNA agarose gel electrophoresis was applied to detect the effect of the SOD mimics on the DNA of SSMC-7721 cell lines. The MSOD compound has inhibitory effect on hepatoma cells. And the result shows itself as a domino effect at its duration and various concentrations. The DNA samples from the hepatoma cells treated with the drug presented four well-regulated ladders in the DNA agarose gel electrophoresis.
