Abstract：Transparent coating of silver zinc composite thin films deposited on glass substrates were prepared by sol-gel processing with Si(OC_2H_5)_4 as precursors,AgNO_3 is the source of silver element,ethanol as solvent,HNO_3 as catalyst. The structures and antibacterial activity of silver zinc complex thin films were characterized by SEM,UV-Vis and bacteriostatic ring,respectively.It was found that silver zinc composite thin film was transparent and had an excellent antibacterial action.
