Abstract：A sample of 648 students from 2 nationalities(Miao and Dong) in Hunan provice was investigated on 8 behavioral traits of lateral functional dominance(hand clasping,handedness,eye preference,stride type,arm folding,leg folding,foot preference and back hand-holding) in November and December,2004.The results showed:(1) In all 2 nationalities studies,the frequencies of right type were over 50% in most traits.(2) The frequencies of leg folding and foot preference showed difference between 2 nationalities(p<0.05 or p<0.01),and that of back hand-holding(Miao and Dong) and eye preference(Miao) were significant sex difference(p<0.05).(3) The correlation were higher among handedness,leg folding and foot preference,and the two relevant phenotypes usually showed right-right model.
