Abstract：Longgang district is the biggest area among Shenzhen city,and plays an import role in urban growth.Based on the reviewing of domestic and international literatures on simulating spatiotemporal changes in land-use using logistic model,an improved model,which introduces dynamic traffic data and spatial filtering into simulating process,were used in the spatiotemporal simulation of Longgang's urban area expanding.The improved logistic model produces a better land-use change simulation result for single district at micro scale.
