Abstract：The asymmetry hypothesis of Dixit-Stiglitz model does not suit reality though it is easy to deal with in a monopolistic competition market.The Characteristics Approach model is an asymmetric monopolistic competition model,but it's difficult to deal with.By constructing a Two-level CES utility function,we established an asymmetric monopolistic competition model,which is an extendability of Dixit-Stiglitz model.As an example,we analyzed the outbound-tourism's influence upon the domestic tourism.
