Abstract:Both the chaotic mapping scheme and multiple access modulation have great effect on the performance of pseudo-chaotic time hopping system. The double-tent ma Phas twice data rate of Bernoulli shift ma Pwith the same parameter setting, while it has a better bit error rate (BER) performance than the Bernoulli shift ma Pwithin the same data rate. In this paper, we improve the double-tent ma Ppseudo-chaotic time hopping in using BPSK modulation, instead of time-hopping (TH) modulation, and this manipulation provides a better BER performance. We provide the analysis of the improvement of the BER performance and validate it by simulation. Compared to the system of Bernoulli shift ma Pwith TH modulation, the improved system provides a better BER performance and increases the data rate.
