Abstract：Starting from the 5-dimensional rotating black hole with two independent angular momentum, the, non-vanishing covariant metric components and their corresponding contravariant counterparts as well as the determinant are explicitly calculated, then the Klein-Gordon equation obeyed by the massive scalar field is separated with variables into a radial part and an angular part. Finally, the radial equation is applied to discuss Hawking radiation of a 5-dimensional rotating black hole.
