Abstract:Nine new aryloxyacetyl thioureas (3a~3i) have been synthesized by the reaction of 2-amino-5-trifluoromethyl-1,3,4-thiodiazole with aryloxyacetyl isothiocyanates. Their structure were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and elemental analysis. The preliminary biological activity tests show that some target compounds have a good activity as plant growth regulator, and 3b, 3c, 3e, 3i have excellent auxin activity, 3d, 3e have better cytokinin activity. The result maker clear that trifluoromethyl group improves biologial activity of target compounds.
