Abstract：With the purpose of water-information extraction from multi-spectral images, and considering the characteristics of wetlands in Remote Sensing investigation, this paper proposes a wetland extraction algorithm based on water spectral features and humidity component which comes from TC transformation. Compared with traditional singleband threshold method and relationship between bands method, the proposed method is not only suitable for extracting open water, but also obtaining some wetlands such as shores, marshes and so on. Then different wetland types are distinguished by a decision tree classification method.
