Abstract：The article proves the muddy and variable charactors of the physi-geographic regional boundary as well as the interdependent relationship between the physi-geographic region and its boundary. The author believes the crux of difining the physigeographic region and its boundary is the cognition about the features, the marks,and the indexes of geographic region. The author points out it is similar to the taxnomy in methodology and the method cluster analysis is a good way to solve this sort of problem, The geographic regional boundary is not understood as changless and it should be allowed, in knowledge and the practice for production, to move properly on the basis of the change of time and condition.
