Abstract：This article deals with the geological and geomorphic characterization with the mobile tectonic belt on Jiang Han Plain, discussing the control of the mobile tectonic belt over the earthquake property on Jiang Han Plain. It also expounds the importance of this researth work in civil engineering to evaluate earthquakes hazard and define the indication of earthquakes resistant design.
