The Mythological Research on "Taiyi Produces Water"
In Gedian city, Hubei Province, the bamboo slips of Chu State were excavated, on which painted the formation of the universe--"Taiyi Produces Water". It's not the odd idea that came out by sudden during the middle and end of the Warring States. Some records, such as Lao Zi, have already provided for it ample ideological or cultural materials. It has the mythological or folk cultural back-ground and basis. Taiyi is equal to Dao or Taiji of Taoism. Its stereotype is primal chaos ("Hundun"), sun or Polaris. Being "Sky, Earth and Mother", it produces water and through water, it produces crea-tures in the universe fatherly.

Taoism myth is an impor-tant subordinate system to Chinese myth. It also focuses on the definition and description of Taoism myth. It conceives that Taoism myth inherited the main subjects of Chinese ancient myth, which reflect-ed in three aspects: roles, conceptions and plots. The contributions of Taoism myth to Chinese myth are the reform of ancient Chinese myth and the creation of new gods, myths and new myth motifs.

Sex Freedom of Southern Minority Women in History
Women of the southern minorities have extensive freedoms in social activities and sex, no mat-ter when they are married, after marriages, alone or in widowhood. Even though these freedoms are re-stricted to some extend, basically they enjoy an equal position as that of men. We can not explain this historical phenomena only with the theory of "vestiges of matriarchal society". Based on historical docu-ments and the annals of nationalities, this paper has discussed the phenomena to further understand the differences in social position and behavior of the two sexes under different cultures.

On Social Turbulence and Superstition in Chinese History
As to the social turbulence in Chinese history, the paper puts forward five opinions. Superstition gave rise to the alternation of regime, the lower class always made use of superstition to destabilize society, superstitious secret association was the organizational form which aroused social turbulence, superstitious documents made theoretical preparation for social turbulence, superstitious prediction was important public opinions which aroused social turbulence. Viewing it from a case-study angle, this paper regards that the downfall of the Qin Dynasty had something to do with the overflow of superstition. And it also suggests that we should strengthen the study on this field ,so that we can supply the mod-ernization with historical reference.

The Relationship of Central Government and Provinces During the Late Qing Dynasty
The new policies during the late Qing Dynasty includes four processes;the new policies of for-eign affairs, the jiawu new policies, the new policies in the early years of the 20th century and the prepa-ration for constitutionalism which are interconnected and gradually progressive. During the processes, Qing government at first gave impetus to reform by means of transferring the power to the commander-in-chief and the governor of a province and at last tried to strengthen the authority of the central government by means of centralization. From the Rise and Fall of the Enterprise Groups of Rong and Zhang to Survey the Chinese Household Enterprises of Modern Age
The two greatest enterprise groups of Rong and Zhang are the representatives for Chinese household and non-household enterprises in modern age. From the rise and fall of the two groups, the household enterprises have more advantages than non-household enterprises, which can be seen in four aspects: The first, profils allotment obey the capital accumulation, the cohesion of enterprises is very strong; The second, investment tendency and the principle of management are more practical rather than idealization; The third, the loopholes of management such as corruption, waste and officialism can be easily controlled, and the innate exhaust is very small; The fourth, the enterprisers often does well in self-orientation, and infuse many energy into enterprises. The reason for being advantageous was the hold-together inside of kin. The kin is a double-faced shield, it also can produce negative influence when system is weakening. Moreover, the conversion of household enterprises to thoroughly private-owned one is also one of the reasons. A supplementary that must be pointed out is, we can't recognize the ar-gumentation of superior Confucianism culture merely according to the advantages of household enterprises.

Literati and Poetry Moods in the Late Yuan Dynasty
Since the life secularization and multilateral culture in the late Yuan Dynasty widely broadened the view and mind of the literati, most of the literati were willing to become bureaucrats but to pursue a life of personai and literary liberalization. Poetry writing broke through the traditional formality and elegance since the mid-Yuan but expressed straightly personai feeling and multi-patterns.

The article investigates the role evolution of film directors in contemporary China and outlines the replacement process of film directors among generations by using a sociological modei. During the replacement, the acting strategy of the new-born generation is considered very important, for it directly relates to that whether their identity could be approved by the circle. During 2001-2002, a number of new directors appeared. Although they adopted a peculiar acting strategy, their identity can not be widely approved by the circle. Under the current condition, most of the directors have already been inte-grated as the culture producers.

A Study of Book Reviews in the Context of Mass Culture
A book review is a review on a book. Nevertheless, not all reviews on books are book re-views. This paper introduces a historical insight in the reflection of book reviews in order to understand precisely the nature of book reviews. A book review is a new critical form following modern mass medi-um, its indivisible relation to the latter is the key to understand the nature of book reviews. Otherwise, any notion of a book review would be reduced to formalism. A book revievv does not present itself in the society spontaneously, it is a key during the production of culture industry in modern society. There-fore, both the business motive of book reviews and the confliction between the motive and i1s cultural value must be taken into account. As a special advertisement, the texts of literary criticism in book re-views should not be a sole kind of advenisement. This is the dialectics of book reviews.

Paradigm Methodology in the West--Reflection and Reconstruction
The popularity of using the paradigm methodology in the scope of social science has inspired great interest as well as debates among a large number of researchers from various disciplines in the West during the past half of the last century. The paradigm methodology has proposed quite a few valu-able views on how to conduct the research in a scientific way and also has contributed to helping many researchers to sort their research designs to a various degree that has been often intriguing them. How-ever, the lack of deep understanding of paradigm methodology itself has affected its fundamental func-tions in research designs. After reviewing related literatures, the paper concludes that there are three categories of paradigm methodologies, e. g. , meta-paradigm methodology, general-paradigm methodol-ogy and method-paradigm methodology. Based on the analysis of the three paradigm methodologies, it has constructed a new paradigm methodology. In the presentation, firstly, it focuses on the philosophi-cal category, paradigm category and operational category of this new paradigm methodology and the re-lationship among these categories. Afterwards, it describes the application of this new paradigm methodology in the research design. And finally, it analyzes the similarities and differences between this new paradigm methodology and three traditional paradigm methodologies.

Mind Is Computer in Brain--An Attempt to Generalize Fodor''''s Thoughts of Philosophy of Mind
Fodor's philosophy of mind focused on the nature of mind and the structure of mind, he rewrote " folk psychology" in terms of physianism and naturalism, and claimed: Mind is computer in brain. Exactly, his theory is a new form of philosophy with some kinds of mechanistic features. After an exhaustive study of Fodor's arguments, the paper reminds us that we should treat the Fodor's thoughts scientifically and cautiously. With the inspiration from Fodor's ideas and method, we need to reevaluate what we have evaluated before.

Comparison and Choice between the Corporation Manufacture and the Limited Partnership Manufacture on Venture Capital
Both of venture capital forms, corporation manufacture and limited partnership manufacture, have their own advantages and disadvantages. No matter which form we choose, we should base on na-tive facts and can not copy other countries' pattern blindly. With the comparison among venture capital forms, our country should choose the main venture capital form of corporation manufacture and develop the limited partnership manufacture step by step because of the obstacles of exist legislation, the faulti-ness of the social credit system, the lack of mature institution investors and suitable venture capital investors , and the limitations of limited partnership manufacture itself.
