Abstract:Under the development of new quality productive forces, the digital transformation of the culture and tourism industry has gradually become a research focus for the academia and the industry.With CiteSpace and VOSviewer visualization and analysis software, the literature data about digital cultural tourism research from the China Knowledge Network database were systematically analyzed in terms of the annual volume of publications, the issuing institutions, the issuing authors, the distribution of journal loads, and the high-frequency keyword visualization mapping. Results are shown as follows: 1) the volume of domestic digital cultural tourism research is mainly concentrated in the year of 2018. After that, there is a wide distribution of issuing institutions, but there is a lack of close cooperation between institutions and authors. 2) The journals carrying articles involve tourism management, cultural industry, rural economy, digital science and technology, etc., and the subject areas show significant disciplinary crossover, but there are fewer papers published in high-level journals, and the quality of the research needs to be further improved. 3) The hotspots of the domestic digital cultural tourism research have mainly focused on the integration of culture and tourism, wisdom tourism, digital economy, digitization, rural tourism, digital economy, and the development of digital tourism. tourism, digital economy, digitization, rural revitalization and other aspects, and has formed hot topics such as the impact of digital technology on tourists' cultural tourism experience and tourism behavior. 4) China's digital cultural tourism research is still in the preliminary stage of development, and in the future, we can further explore such core topics as the theory and practice of the new quality productive forces empowering the high-quality development of digital cultural tourism, the mechanisms and paths of digital cultural tourism to promote the construction of a strong tourism country, the impact and measurement of digital technology on tourists' experience, psychology and behavior. This study conducts a systematic review of publication trends and thematic hotspots in China's digital culture and tourism research, proposes future research directions aligned with national strategic priorities, and establishes a robust theoretical foundation for the field while offering actionable insights for the development of culture and tourism industry.
