Abstract：Serological properties and relationship between polyhedron protein and virions of a nuclear polyhedrosis virus of the Prodenia litura Fab were studied, polyhedron protein formed one precipitin line and one precipitin arc in immunodiffusion and immunoelectrophoresis respectively when reacted with its homolgous antiserum. Virions formed two precipitin lines and three precipi tin arcs in immunodiffusion andimmunoelectrophoresis respectively in reaction to antiserum to virions. There was no sharing of antigen between polyhedron protein and virions. No serological relationship exists between polyhedron protein and virions of the SLNPV.
