Abstract:The classification theory and the research method are important component parts of Taxonomy. Their kernel issues are the fundamental classification procedures and the calssification system. The teaching of Spermatophyta Taxonomy must therefore be guided by the classification system. and the traditional teaching method taking identification of plant as the sole aim of Taxonomy must be revised. In this paper the authors carried our preliminary rtudies on the above-mentioned issues in the light of pedagogical theories and the special features ef Taxonomy. The results have been encouraging.
