Abstract:Using UAV aerial photogrammetry to quickly and efficiently obtain three-dimensional urban information has become a hot spot in the research and engineering application of three-dimensional urban modeling technology. High altitude photogrammetry is a new technology that uses UAVs with an altitude of more than 1.5 km to carry long focal distance photographing systems and efficiently collect ground mapping data. It has emerged in urban 3D modeling. In this paper, a 300 mm focal length digital aerial photographing system is used to carry an aerial vehicle to complete high-altitude photographing and measurement in Laoguanhu Village, Dongzhong Town, Hanchuan City, Hubei Province. After calibrating the camera, three-dimensional information of spatial points is extracted. According to the images and measurement data taken by the digital aerial photography system, the DEM model is made in the three-dimensional virtual scene, with the three-dimensional model orientation completed, and the texture is added to the model frame. Finally, the complete three-dimensional scene virtual model is generated. The test results show that the minimum shooting resolution is not less than 9.6 cm, and the error of 3D information extraction of spatial points is less than 1%. It is a high-quality and low error 3D modeling method, and would provide a new way for building 3D virtual models of cities.
