Abstract:Bao Zheng was an honest and upright official who set up a good example of counter corruption both in theory and practice. He believed the law was an important weapon of counter corruption; the legal system was made out and used to punish and wipe out the corrupted officials and also to prevent and prohibit corruption. His theory and practice on counter corruption is a reflection of patriotism, justice, uprightness of Chinese Confucianism culture and it gives us many inspirations to current practice of counter corruption.
