Abstract：As a scientific branch with redoubled attention, Cognitive Neuroscience is based on the theory of Functional Location and Neuron Doctrine and is trying to reveal the secrets of the cognitional mechanism in the human brain. Although a great progress in a series of cognitive fields has been made, many difficult problems are still unresolved. The paper summerizes the formation and major achievements of this subject, and also, from the angle of Philosophy of Mind, it makes an inquiry into the subject's theoretical significance for mind body problem.
