Abstract：This paper, firstly, discusses the main features of knowledge economy and the interaction relation of knowledge economy and higher education, and then it gives out the ten tendency of the development of higher education under this circumstance. Secondly, by means of concrete evidence, it analyzes the impact that knowledge economy has on Chinese higher education, the five challenges and opportunities it brings. Thirdly, it proposes some thinking on the development of Chinese higher education.
