Abstract:The paper surveys three subjects which must be examined in discussing Marx's labor theory of value. First, the underlying methodology and reality underground are "paradigm of dependence" and phenomenon of surplus. Second, the logical system embodied in labor theory of value mainly includes three propositions--the innate logical structure which takes the value created byabstract labor as its core, the conherence of monistic substance of value and plural magnitude of Value and consistency of so-called "transformation problem". Third, the trio of tests that labor theory of value should face are: proving that market price and production price are being deviated from the labor theory of value, explaining the attribution of the contributions that non-labor elements made and the reasonability of the income for the non-labor elements. And the performance of the labor theory of value in the tests, namely, the exlaining capability of the fact, used to be, is, and will be the ultimate reason for the labor theory of value.
