Abstract：By means of the motif and the analyzing methods in the field of modern folklore art, this paper gives explanation and analysis of some given examples from such aspects as: the spoken and written form of Chinese folklore stories' categories, their cultural connotation, aesthetic interest, cross-cultural comparison and their places of origin, which shows the combination of macroscopic and microscopic, mixing the positive result of sino-west story science.
