Abstract:In view that researches in the field of intercultural communication mostly focus on analysis of pure language and superficial culture, the paper analyzes deep obstacles of intercultural communication from the point of deep culture. Historically, the paper researches on the unsuccessful communication that had great importance on nations and races of the world and the negative communication factors it caused--the psychology of a stranger, cultural stereotypes and bias, ethnocentrism. Being a collective cultural unconsciousness, these negative factors from history exist in our memory without being known, and hinder intercultural communication obstinately and imperceptibly. Researches on the subject will deepen our understanding of intercultural communication.
