Abstract:To the nature of a firm or the reason to be a firm, Marxism economics gives its explanation from the interest of devision of the work and the labor. The modern firm theories explore it from a new point of view with the base of transaction costs and provide a principle model for us to process it in-depth and professionally. The paper thinks that, the core-capital's appearance and being identified by the community is the sufficient and necessary condition for a firm to come into being, while the transaction costs of the modern firm theories only answer the necessary condition.
