Abstract：Although WTO is an economic organization, the opera ti on of WTO will influence a lot on political changes of the Member States. From t he positive view, it will push forward the political development in contemporary China, but from the negative view, it will perhaps reduce the capacity against external dangers, expand the political corruption, aggravate political instabili ty, make political decline. To push forward political development and avoid poli tical decline, it's really necessary to improve market economy, cultivate civil society, construct a state of rule of law, rebuild political power, improve gove rnment capacity, etc.
