On List''''s Thought about the Protective Tariff
From the point of view of national economy development, Friedrich List viewed the protective tariff as a great of help to set up and expand the native economy, but not the most. Therefore he advocated that the state should bring the intervening means into full play. He supported the distinguishable, controllable, and advancing methods of protective tariff. List's thought expressed the German bourgeois demands in the first half of the 19th century, promoting the industrial and commercial growth by the state finances.

On Lessons of the U.S. Westward Movement
The U.S. Westward Movement was the reclamation movement of wasteland by immigrants on a broad scale. The western parts of America developed and rose quickly in pure capitalism mode, which offers useful lessons: the exploitation based on the big scale immigration; priority to the development of transport service; the development of agriculture and animal husbandry; the participation of the American government in the development of the West; and urbanization brought about the development of the West. Although the development of the west was successful, in the long run, it also exerted negative influence on American society and economic growth: the damage of ecology environment; Indians ill-treated; peasants suffered from heavy usury during the Westward Movement.

Analysis of Educational Economic Zone Classification and Higher Education Investment Difference
On the basis of discussing the concept of educational economic zone, the significance of classifying educational economic zone, the theoretical foundations, methods and stages of classifying educational economic zone, this paper intends to divide the thirty provinces of our country into four educational economic zones: the Central Government cities, developed zone, medium developing zone and underdeveloped zone. The paper also discusses the relationships among educational economic zones, administrative areas, and the regional distributions; analyzes the gradient difference of various districts on local economic development level and education development level and makes a further analysis on the difference of higher education investment among various districts.

A Review on YU Jia-ju''''s Thought of Rural Education
YU Jia ju was an influential educator, scholar and social activist in Chinese modern history. This is the first essay to review YU Jia ju's thought of rural education. This essay explores that, under the influence of the democratic and scientific thought of the May 4th Movement, YU Jia ju boldly pointed out the symptoms of Chinese education and in order to save social crisis and improve education, he firstly advocated rural education campaign, put forth the practical solutions towards normal schools, rural schools and rural society.

Evolution and Integration of Market and Village
Owing to the fundamental opposition of starting-point of conduct and theoretical basis, contradictions and conflicts inevitably occur between the countryside stock company and the unity of the village in conduct rules and logic. However, the integration of collective property and village community determines that the two social units must realize organic joint and unity.
