Abstract:Derris trifoliate is associated with mangrove plants, which seriously threaten mangrove ecosystem. In order to turn waste into wealth, the active rotenone in Derris trifoliate was studied. In the present work, percolation extraction method was adopted. Ethanol concentration and extraction time were selected as factors, the content of rotenone was determined by HPLC. The results showed that when the ethanol concentration was 84% and the extraction time was 4.1 d, the rotenone content was 1.97%, and the relative error with the predicted value was only 2.48%. Thus, the optimal model of rotenone is feasible.
