Abstract：This paper, through the discussion of the connotation of practice, analyzes the general principles of practice, which are that, practice leads to freedom and practice creates beauty. According to the above, it reveals the basic nature of ugliness, as the result of practice, anti freedom, and the different states of ugliness in all kinds of practice. It raises that the study of ugliness, which has the negative value in the field of aesthetics, has contributions to the understanding of the connotation of practice, freedom and creativity and their relationship so as to uncover the practice origin of aesthetics.
