Abstract：In modern chinese aesthetic course, "comedy nature", "the comic" and "humour" are not equal to "the comic" and "humour" in western aesthetics.In western aesthetic history, "humour" is mostly seen as a type of "the comic".However, in the sight of practical aesthetics, "the comic" and "humour" are defined separately and clearly, and become parts of the categories line of practical aesthetics. "humour" represents conformity with regularity and ends, results from the freedom of human practice. "the comic" represents unconformity with regularity and normal ends, results from the unfreedom of human practice.
