1 A Historical Document Expounding the Sinicization of Marxism in China——A Learning Experience on “The Resolution of the CPC Central Committee on the Major Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party’s Centennial Struggle”
Zhang Haipeng Wang Fengqing
“The Resolution of the CPC Central Committee on the Major Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party’s Centennial Struggle” is rich in content. One of the major achievements of the CPC’s centennial struggle is the significant leaps in the sinicization of Marxism, and the Resolution can be regarded as a historical document that incisively expounds the sinicization of Marxism. It systematically summarizes the glorious course of the sinicization of Marxism, profoundly elaborates the reasons why it has continuously achieved new leaps, and points out that the leaps are coherent, interconnected and progressive. It provides the theoretical foundation and the basis for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It considers Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the latest theoretical achievement in the chain of development of Marxism’s sinicization. This also puts forward the mission for the Chinese Communists to continuously promote the sinicization of Marxism and constantly achieve new breakthroughs in the sinicization of Marxism from a more advanced historical starting point.

10 Understanding the “China’s Path”
Zhao Lingyun
The “China’s Path” includes two aspects: the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the path of modernization with the Chinese style. It is the organic unity of China’s social development and the modernization, and the correct path for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The “China’s Path” was initiated by Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China after a hundred years of struggle. The construction of “China’s Path” is based on the first two periods of the Communist Party of China’s centennial struggle, and is initiated, formed and developed in the latter two periods; the “China’s Path” is rooted in the first historic leap of the sinicization of Marxism and expanded in the new historic leap of the sinicization of Marxism; the “China’s Path” is rooted in national independence and self-reliance, and extends to independence and opening to the outside world. The establishment of “China’s Path” has profound world historical significance and human ideological value, which is conducive to counterattack the “Western prejudice” about China and enhance the historical and theoretical confidence of the Chinese nation. It is conducive to breaking the “west-centrism” and enlightening the majority of developing countries to independently control their own destiny. It is conducive to refuting the “the end of history” and expanding the new development prospect and path of human society.

18 The Fundamental Orientation, Core Issues and Basic Path of the Modernization of Rural Governance in the New Era
Wang Puqu
As the nation embarks on a new journey of building a modern socialist country in all aspects, promoting the modernization of the country’s governance system and governance capabilities is a major strategy for the modernization with Chinese characteristics. In the process of China’s modernization, the historical development and practical logic of the rural governance inevitably determine the orientation of the modernization of rual governance. The construction of the party’s grassroots organizations, of the rural political system, of rural culture, and the common prosperity of urban and rural areas are the core issues of promoting the modernization of rural governance. They determine the basic path of the modernization of rural governance: propelling and strengthening the construction of grassroots organizations; constructing a new pattern of rural governance in which the strategies of the self-governance and rural revitalization promote each other in a collaborative way; improving the new rural governance system under the leadership of the party committee, and enhancing the ability of quality governance in rural areas; building and optimizing the governance mechanism for common prosperity; strengthening the construction of rural culture, and deeply cultivating the social capital of rural governance.

25 The Long-Term Mechanism and Strategy of the Effective Transition from Consolidating and Expanding the Achievements of Poverty Alleviation to Rural Revitalization
Yin Chengjie
Since the victory of poverty alleviation, the focus of the three-dimension rural issues (those of agriculture, farmers and rural areas) in our country has historically shifted to the all-rounded revitalization of rural areas. To achieve an effective transition from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization is the primary task. According to the progressive relationship of these two major strategies, an effective transition demands the clarification of its basis, tasks and goals. It is also necessary to prevent large-scale return to the poverty, reduce the chance of the former impoverished areas and population regressing to poverty and the chance of the increasing of new poverty population, improve the independent capacity of development of the former poverty-stricken areas, and coordinate the differences in the development of different areas. Based upon all of this, we should manage the process of optimization and upgrade, establish a sound and effective long-term mechanism for the transition, make plans, provide support for development and implement the policies for social security, in order to facilitate the effective transition from consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation to rural revitalization.

31 The Policy Adjustment of Consolidating and Expanding the Achievements of Poverty Alleviation for the First Year and Its Evaluation
Lin Wanlong Liang Qionglian Ji Xiaokai
The year of 2021 is the first of the planned five-year transitional period from consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation to the realization of rural revitalization. The policy adjustment for this year focuses on preventing the large-scale return to the bottom line of poverty, emphasizes the sustainability of the effects of the adjustment, and takes into full consideration the progressive relationship between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, all of which facilitate the effective transition from consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation to rural revitalization. Throughout this year, the results of field studies have proven the sustaining efficacy of the policy adjustment. In practice, it is not appropriate to formulate a quantitative standard for large-scale poverty return. Government at all levels should strive to accomplish a smooth transition of policies, stay alert to the chance of return to poverty that may be caused by the adjustment of some support policies, further implement and specify the support measures, so as to maintain the achievements of poverty alleviation. Meanwhile, we should be soberly aware that consolidating the results of poverty alleviation and implementing rural revitalization are not two distinctively separate stages. There are tasks of consolidating the achievements both during and after the transition.

40 An Analysis on the Spatial Pattern and Influencing Factors of House Price Index in 70 Large and Medium-Sized Cities in China
Yu Xiaofen, Zhan Dongsheng
Based on the house price index data of 70 large and medium-sized cities in China from 2006 to 2020 published by the National Bureau of Statistics, the spatial pattern and influencing factors of house price index in 70 large and medium-sized cities in China are discussed in detail by using GIS spatial analysis and Spatial Dobbin Model. The results show that: the distribution of house price index in 70 large and medium-sized cities in China shows a spatial pattern that the index of coastal cities is higher than that of inland cities, and eastern cities higher than western cities. The house price index of 70 large and medium-sized cities in China has a certain degree of spatial correlation, but the intensity or direction of spatial autocorrelation is slightly different in different years. The spatial cold and hot spot analysis shows that the hot spots of house price index in 70 large and medium-sized cities in China are mainly distributed in the east and south, and the cold spots are mainly distributed in the central and north. The results of Spatial Dobbin Model show that per capita GDP, the proportion of tertiary industry, currency circulation, per capita total retail sales of social consumer goods and public services are the main factors affecting the spatial differentiation of house price index in 70 large and medium-sized cities in China.

52 Neighborhood Conduction of House Price Expectations: Influence Mechanism and Empirical Analysis
Chen Shuyun Chen Weihong
Expectation is an important factor affecting people’s economic behavior. Using the data of China Family Panel Studies(CFPS), this paper studies the neighborhood conductive effect on residents’ house price expectations. The results show that residents’ house price expectations present a significant neighborhood conductive effect, that is, the neighbors’ house price expectations affects the individual residents’ house price expectations, and this influence is positively related. The neighborhood effect on house price expectations is different among individuals with different cognitive levels. With the improvement of residents’ individual cognitive ability, the effect decreases accordingly. At the same time, the expansion of information channels reduces the neighborhood conductive effect on the individual residents’ house price expectations, and the substitutive effect of the Internet is greater than that of TV media. The sub sample study shows that the neighborhood conductive effect of house price expectations exists significantly among the suburban residents and all age groups. The findings above are still robust after the research using the instrumental variable method and controlling various influencing factors. After testing the cluster effect and intra-city effect that may influence the findings of this paper, the results further support the conclusion of this paper.

63 On the Origin of the Luo Education of China
Wang Qizhou
Liu Shipei believes that there has already been “Luo education” during the sovereign of Shun, according to some literature from ancient times, and he understands the connotation of this “Luo education” as teaching through music (including dance). The findings of archeology have proven the existence of musical instruments and dance back in the neolithic age. However, the “Luo” (“乐” in Chinese, which is the same character as “music”) in oracle-bone and bronze inscriptions refer to the names of places, rather than music. It was not until King Wen of Zhou that “乐” represents the inner joy, which was related but not exclusive to music. The definite idea, complete system and effective management of “Luo education” started from the system of rites and music established by King Wen of Zhou. Although the earlier music and dance had certain impact on Zhou’s “musical education,” the cultures they represented were different in nature. The earlier music and dance served the transcendental culture of witchcraft, while the music of Zhou aimed at the secular culture of ruling the people. The cultural spirit of the former can be found in any prehistory nations, but that of the latter only shines in the history of Chinese nation. If we regard rules of “rites” as “the reason why the Zhou ruled the whole nation, and its purpose was to encompass the nation into a unified moral framework and unite the king, princes, scholars, and common people to form one moral community,” then the rules of “music” was the cultural mechanism to coordinate the states, harmonize the nobles and the commoners, and moderate emotions. Its purpose was to allow Zhou people, the “moral community,” to enjoy a harmonious life and artistic experience under the patriarchal and feudal system, and cultivate a happy spirit to maintain the long-term peace and stability of the world. Therefore, “Luo education” was an important connotation and institutional guarantee of the ritual and music culture, and has cultivated the spiritual dimension and national character of the Chinese nation. Therefore, it is worthy of special cherishment and efforts to promote, so as to accelerate the great rejuvenation of Chinese civilization.

82 The New Discussion of Literature and the Construction of National Language
Gao Yu
The national language was established in the New Literature Movement of the May Fourth Movement. During the May Fourth Movement, the New Literature Movement and the National Language Movement were integrated. The modern vernacular, established by the New Literature Movement, is the best language that has the qualities of modern ideas and tools, and it is different in nature from the vernacular of the late Qing Dynasty and that of the ancient Chinese. The vernacular before the May Fourth could not be regarded as the “national language”, because it did neither constitute a language system, nor meet the standard of “national language”. After the May Fourth Movement, various forces tried to reform the language, put forward various theories and carried out corresponding practices, but they do not change the national language. The root cause is that there is no new and better literary language to replace it. As a result, there has been no fundamental change in Chinese literary language in the last hundred years, and the modern Chinese has always been based on the “standard modern vernacular”.

90 The “Regional Flavor” of Suzhou Dialect in Literature——On the Chinese Poetics of Han Bangqing’s The Sing-song Girls of Shanghai
Wen Guiliang
According to the characters’ language in The Sing-song Girls of Shanghai, the factors that contribute to the “softness” of Suzhou dialect are as follows: the voice of “bu” which means negation is compressed, the reduplication of words is flexible and diverse, many tones and modal words are used, and expressions in daily life are elegant. This Suzhou dialect shapes different characters with different personalities. As a whole, the language of The Sing-song Girls of Shanghai has the following characteristics: the coolness and hardness of traditional vernacular narration and the tenderness and softness of the characters who use Suzhou dialect complement each other; the absorption of new time markers and new terms for objects reveals new linguistic factors. From the perspective of the transformation of literary language, The Sing-song Girls of Shanghai can be regarded as a masterpiece of the Wu dialect , but not as a representative work of the modern transformation of Chinese literature.

123 The Historical Evolution of the Ideological Trend of“Constitutional Amendment” in Japan
Sun Baokun
The promulgation of the “Peace Constitution” not only laid a political foundation for postwar Japan to take the road of peaceful development and rise as a world economic power, but also provided a legal guarantee for lasting peace in the Asia-Pacific region. However, over the past 70 years after the war, Japan’s conservative forces have been deliberately planning to amend and even abolish the “Peace Constitution”. If the original “Ashida Amendment” only buried the hidden danger of “Constitutional Amendment”, then the four vicious waves of “Constitutional Amendment” set off by Japanese conservative forces in the following years pushed the “Peaceful Constitution” to a precarious situation. No matter how the Japanese conservative forces peddle the “Imposition Theory”, “Outdated Theory” and “Hindrance Contribution Theory” of the “Peaceful Constitution”, they cannot cover up their political plot and ambition of returning to the pre-war era, that is, reviving militarism. The reason why the countercurrent of Japan’s “Constitutional Amendment” is fierce and intensified is closely related not only to the rightist trend of Japanese politics, especially the resurgence of right-wing forces, but also to the conniving attitude of the United States because of the cold war and anti-China sentiment. The key to preventing and even smashing the political plot of “Constitutional Amendment” by Japanese conservative forces is to accelerate the awakening of more and more Japanese people, strive to expand the political force of protecting the Constitution in Japan’s political arena, and promote Asia-Pacific states to form an internationally united front to maintain the Peace Constitution and other victorious achievements of the world anti-fascist war.

133 Eurocentrism and William Robertson’s Idea of America
Wang Xiaode
William Robertson was a famous historian in the Enlightenment and published a multi-volume work about the American history. Under the influence of the Eurocentrism, Robertson accepted the theory of American degeneracy elaborated systematically by Buffon and became one of the representatives of the theory. Robertson’s idea of America undoubtedly had a great influence on many Europeans perception of America in his time. His description of the characteristics of Native Americans from the perspective of the degeneracy seemed to contribute little to the original theory, but it obviously contributed to the wide spread of this theory in European academic community and societies. In fact, far from an indiscriminate imitation of Buffon and other scholars’ proposition of degeneracy and in his research, Robertson put forward some thought-provoking questions on the premise of confirming the physical degeneracy of Native Americans. According to the content of The History of America, Robertson’s descriptions are at best the echoes of the theory of degeneracy in European academic circles.

152 The Family Capital and the Quality of the Access to High School Education——An Analysis Based on the Senior Secondary Education Differentiation in County B of Jiangsu Province
Zhu Xinzhuo Luo Jingya
There are differences in the quality of different opportunities for senior high school education, and the quality of the access to high school education has a critical influence on the chance of higher education attainment and occupational attainment. Therefore, it is one of the topics in educational equality research. Students’ high school education opportunities are affected by multiple factors. This study explores the relationship between students’ family capital and the quality of their high school education opportunities. The investigation and analysis of students’ educational tracking after junior high school in County B of Jiangsu Province find that, economic capital has no significant effect on the educational opportunities of common high schools and quality high schools (compared with vocational high schools), while social capital has a positive effect, and cultural capital has a positive impact but weaker than social capital. Only cultural capital has a significant positive impact on the access to quality high schools (compared with common high schools). Among the factors of family capital, the subjective factors can help the children of disadvantaged families to obtain opportunities for common high schools, but the objective factors will restrict their opportunities for quality high schools. Therefore, the government should implement the high school “quota allocation policy” as well as promoting the balanced distribution of student resources between common high schools and quality high schools. In addition, the disadvantaged families should actively cultivate family cultural capital, and the schools and communities should also provide various support to make up for the lack of family cultural capital of these families, thereby improving the quality of their children’s high school education opportunities.

165 An Analysis of the Difference in Junior High SchoolStudents’ Willingness to Enter Secondary Vocational Schools——A Survey of 21,531 Nineth Graders in the “Three Autonomous Prefectures”
Shen Youlu
Through a survey of 21,531 nineth graders in the junior high schools of “three autonomous prefectures”, we found that students’ willingness to enter a secondary vocational school is not very high, only 31.9% to be exact, the majority of which are from disadvantaged families. Students’ willingness to attend secondary vocational school is significantly different according to the areas, the nature of the schools, family annual income levels, and other elements. Further studies show that “my grade is not good enough, and secondary vocational schools are the only option” is the most prevelant reason for students’ choice of secondary vocational schools. The second most rated reason is “other reasons” (for example, hobbies). The third is related to the cost of education. Therefore, in order to increase the nineth graders’ demand for vocational education, we should pay attention to the 41.3% who are “not sure” about whether to go to secondary vocational schools and those who are disadvantaged in family social capital, economic capital and cultural capital. Meanwhile, we should also improve the salaries and welfare for the vocational school graduates as soon as possible, and improve the quality of vocational education and conditions for practical training. In addition, it is also important to promote the value and significance of vocational education.

173 Technology Enabled Teaching Transformation: The Characteristics and Advancement of International Advanced Innovative Pedagogy——The Analysis of Innovating Pedagogy in 2012-2021 Based on Content Analysis Method
Gao Wei
Technology-enabled teaching innovation is an important feature of contemporary educational reform. Since 2012, the Institute of Educational Technology in Open University of UK has continuously published the “Innovating Pedagogy Report”, which studies and promotes the major teaching innovations affecting school education today and in the next ten years. It is an international and forward-looking document that guides the innovation of teaching. According to the content analysis method, we conduct the coding analysis of 86 innovative teaching methods based on four aspects: basic information, the basis of innovative teaching methods, the applicable situations of and the dimensions embodied by innovative teaching methods. The research finds that: from cultivating “active learners” to cultivating “global citizens of the future society”, the teaching objectives of innovative teaching methods have turned to discourse; from “technology application” to “system reconstruction”, information technology has undergone practical changes; from “classroom learning” to “ubiquitous learning”, the learning field has expanded in time and space; from “single discipline” to “the integration of disciplines”, the theoretical basis of innovative teaching methods presents a trend of discipline integration.

182 The Levels and Function of Digital Technology in Relieving the Loneliness of the Elderly
Wu Lin Zhang Liqin,
In terms of the objective conditions, the elderly are susceptible to loneliness. With the changes of physiological conditions, demographic structures, family models, living styles and communication concepts, the elderly have some practical problems, such as the decline of cognitive ability, the marginalization of their roles in family, the generation gap, the shrinkage of their social networks and the fracture of their social communication, all of which lead to the loneliness of the elderly in the digital age. With the help of digital technology, it is possible to build a hierarchical system to relieve the loneliness of the elderly based on resource compensation, social support and self-reinforcement, so as to improve the senior citizens’ lack of digital literacy, promote their differential social embedness, realize their participation in the social reproduction of digital equality, help the smart eldercare in the digital era, and effectively raise the civilization and progress of the society.
