On the Reform of Welfare Economic System in the Developed Countries
The western "Welfare States" have reformed substantially the welfare economic system because of political, economic and social factors since 1980's. Most of their reforms pay more attentions to adjusting the welfare economic system in accordance with the changes of economic situations. Though these countries have achieved considerable headway, their reforms have paid some prices such as the economy growth rate falling, the unemployment rate rising, the difference between the rich and the poor enlarging, strikes increasing. Furthermore, the reforms of the welfare economic system in the "Welfare Sates" have brought some problems how to deal with the relationship between equality and efficiency, whether the welfare economic system forms according to pulling of "supply" or "demand", how to improve the efficiency in the public administration sector, etc. The reforms of the welfare economic system in the developed countries have an important signification not only in perfecting the welfare economic system, but also in reforming the social security system in China.

The Japanese endowment insurance system is now facing the problem such as: the absence of old age pension; enterprises can not afford the increasing pension; the overload of the middle age and the young age. At the beginning the 21th century, the Japanese endowment insurance system is carrying on reforming which has adjusted its current constuctural system so as to even the load of the pension among the old, the middle age and the young, which has reinforced its market system so as to build up the sustainable development of its endowment insurance system.

On the Broadness and Nativeness of Literary Theory Criticism''s Foundation
The innovations in literary theory criticism may well met with barriers in vertical axis of time and horizontal axis of vision. This paper views, both western and Chinese contemporary theories are in the lack of wide and broad foundations. To meet the demand of social cultural development and literary development in the new millennium, we should take a renew view of many existing concepts and try to rise over the "non aesthetical" and "pan culturalized" tendency. It also holds the stand that the reconstuction of an all round system of literary theory is of slim promise. At last, it calls for the competition, blending and coexistence of different literary theories.

The First Person of Stream-of-consciousness Novel in China——Comment on Liu Yi-chang''s Winebibber and In the Temple
This paper believes that Liu Yi chang, a Hongkong, is the first person in China to write stream of consciousness novels. It gives comment on his Winebibber and In the Temple respectively: Winebibber is a succesful experiment, which utilizes the techniques of western modern novels to write with Chinese materials. It's the first work that uses the skill of stream of consciousness and has its unique place in literary history; and In the Temple uses the psychoanalysis and modern consciousness to expound classical works, which may well be termed the classic work of contemporary "A New Book of Stories".

Research on Chinese Vocabulary from the Perspective of Ontology
This paper holds that, according to current situation, research on Chinese vocabulary should from the perspective of psychology on so as to actualize the understanding of vocabulary, the recognizing of the world and the concerning of one self. The first part of the paper discusses the theoretical basis for the propose mentioned above: as a creature of signs, with the help of verbal signs, human being understand the existence of themselves, form the nature of themselves, reveal the physical world, and construct the cultural world. The second part of it expounds the basic thinking way of the propose: firstly discusses respectively about the foundation of vocabulary, their development, the construction of their meaning and the relationship between their meaning and the way of human being's existence; then realizes the highest synthesization aiming at human being.

ON the Idea of Modernization and of Its Two Dimensions
The first part of the paper clarifies the meaning of the idea "modernization" from three respects such as the transforming of civilization formation, of social formation and resources utilized formation. The second part of the paper analyses two dimensions of modernization: accomplished fact and plans for future. It points out that researches on modernization should primarily forcus on historical research. And then it expounds that the developmental process of modernization in the developing countries always characterizes that of the plans for future by countries and individuals, and it illustates the importance of evaluation, methods, contents and results of the plans. Finally, it stresses that modernization and history of modernization in the orient don't take place naturally, it might be a man made construction with complex process.

The Development of Traditional Industry and Choice of Industrialization Way in Modern China
After the Opium War, specially after the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895, some changes had taken place in Chinese productive forces of traditional industries, such as the alteration of handicraft tools, of the technological mode of "millstone + steam engine". This was the intermediate technology during the transmission from tradition to modern in the handicraft industry. These changes brought about some active effects: it prepared factors for the transmission from handicraft to machinery industry, and promoted the develoment of handicraft economic zones in rural villages. At the same time, it provided market conditions for the development of national machinery industry, which enriched the choice of industrialization way in modern China.

The Evolutionary Changes of Commercial Adjudication Organ during the Late Qing and Early Republic of China
Since the chamber of commerce was founded, to deal with commercial disputes is one of its important functions. On the power of the chamber of commerce over the commercial disputes, there are two different lawlization ways between the government then and the chamber of commerce. The latter wanted to form a formal commercial adjudication organ and realize the down to up lawlization, while the government then tried to realize the up to down lawlization in which it was at the core by building up the commercial arbitrary organ. Finally, the government got the victory.

A New Exploration to the Reasons of the Split of the First Collaboration between GMT and CPC
